Is it true owners can get Hepatitis and other diseases from sleeping with dogs? - hepatitis in dogs

I sleep with my lil Chihuahuas because they want to sleep in bed with me.

But my father says I can get diseases like hepatitis and demands that his doctor said. I tried Google, but find no information about this topic?

My dogs are current on all vaccinations and has no fleas and ticks.

Your father is a liar or ignorant.

He tells stories.
Fleas can be achieved. Note that you can get scabies can be achieved.

It is not maintained, however, hepatitis or other diseases of the dog.

If this is the case, would be a lot of people are really sick or dead.

Hepatitis Hepatitis humans and dogs are different things .. Spread of hepatitis not in bed anyway .. But you can not catch canine hepatitis, and your dog can not be human hepatitis.

The only thing you might have) a bed with your dog shares external parasites (fleas, ticks, lice, dog, mites / scabies, if your dog leads, but most of the parasites in dogs are generally not attracted to men (with except for the ticks can) .. or an infection of the skin such as ringworm .. Ringworm is very contagious and can easily be extended to share the bed .. But even here you should your dog really be taken to achieve this for you.

If the parents said the doctor, you can hepatitis by a dog, then your father must find a new CD .. He is an idiot.
