I bought a car last month, an individual and he accidentally signed the title, which was signed and corrected his mistakes and errors in the prosecutor's bench. I wired him the money and received the title and left. When I to Virginia, was told he needed a letter or a deed from him, he was selling me the car. I have a deed, but I received a letter from the bank said that the title was changed by an accident and notarized. Virginia DMV, this will not be a ligitimate reason for the title of the car. I called DMV and Ohio can not help me much! At this point I am lost and do not know what to do because the owner of the vehicle has moved to Belgium and I can not reach. There is someone out therecan help me ????? I'm desperate, I thank you

What should I do receive a "statement of fact" the person who purchased the vehicle. The only way the title is from the registered owner of the vehicle to correct. The current registered owner is the person who bought them because it does not transfer the property to you until you can be sure that you actually buy the vehicle, and although he made a mistake in the title, "is not fraud" by former owners or by you.

It might work, but Virginia is a commonwealth and the laws are very different.
